I created Lacuna with pure joy and happiness. This painting symbolises life which is like waves, carrying you through highs and lows, showing you the direction, giving you a push when you need it.
The golden line depicts your perception, how you take on what life throws your way. There was a time in my life when I felt like I was drowning under the waves, unable to breathe yet the waves of life kept me afloat but in those moments I was struggling –
I panicked, I really did yet, it was the sound of those waves, the waterfalls, that helped me keel calm in those moments.
This is a custom made order but this is my depiction of it, my perception. You may have a different perception and that’s what it makes it beautiful.

Wat een prachtig schilderij. We hebben Amrita gevraagd voor ons nieuwe appartement een schilderij te maken wat bij de kamer past. Door middel van foto’s, gevoel en kennis heeft Amrita dit voor ons ontworpen. Zodra je de kamer binnenkomt, verwarmt Lacuna je hart en je bent verkocht. Ze sluit je meteen in je armen. Zo bijzonder, en we zijn er waanzinnig blij mee! Vakwerk en heel persoonlijk. Bedankt Amrita!!
